Terraform Air

Solar-powered heating, cooling, hot water and refrigeration on one loop of water, heated and cooled by the waste heat of a solar-powered AI compute node.

How it works

  1. 01
Compute heat cools it. A silica gel chiller turns heat from the compute node into cold water that cools your rooms.
  2. 02
A computer heats it. A solar-powered compute node runs all year, cooled by water. Almost every watt it draws leaves as heat in that water, a 50 °C loop.
  3. 03
The loop does the rest. It finishes hot water at 60 °C and can heat a spa, pool or greenhouse.

Space and water heating, cooling and AI compute, now optimised for solar.

Heating and cooling are among the largest energy uses on Earth, and AI compute is the fastest growing. Air runs all three on solar power in one complementary thermal cycle. The AI compute node runs on solar and is cooled by water. That water leaves hot, warms rooms and hot water, and drives a silica gel chiller that makes the cold water for cooling. No energy is wasted.

Cooling, heating and hot water

01 · Cooling

Cooled by compute heat

Heat from the compute node drives a silica gel chiller, which makes the cold water for your rooms. A fan and a pump do the rest. A$39 a year, 70% less.

02 · Heating

Heated by computation

Compute cards sit in a locked steel box inside the heat pump, wrapped in water. A$329 a year, 54% less.

03 · Hot water

Sixty degrees on the way past

The loop already runs at 50 °C, so the tank only adds the last ten degrees. A$133 a year, 86% less.

Air Intelligence

Every Air unit carries an AI compute node running on its own solar and cooled by water. The water it heats then warms and cools the building, so no energy is wasted. Together the units form one data centre, inside buildings that already exist.

For owners

  1. 01
Buy Air, upfront or through government programmes.
  2. 02
Terraform owns and runs the compute node, and covers your heating and cooling energy.
  3. 03
You keep the heat. Compute customers rent the capacity from Terraform.
