About Terraform

Terraform Technologies is an industrial company in Cremorne, Melbourne. We design and manufacture solar-powered industrial machines, develop industrial parks that turn raw ingredients into materials, and make those materials into finished products.

Mission

Design the industrial stack for a solar-powered future.

Solar is becoming the cheapest energy on the planet. The industrial stack that makes cement, steel, glass, water and fuel was designed for fuel, grid power and round-the-clock operation. Terraform redesigns each process to run directly on sunlight, as manufactured systems that deploy in weeks, cost less to own and run, and improve with every unit we build.

Vision

Vastly increase production and reduce the cost of everything.

01

Falling cost per watt

Each year a watt of solar costs less to make and install.

02

Daylight operation

Processes are engineered to start at sunrise and stop at sunset.

03

Low capital, low running cost

No grid connection, fuel contract or site operator to pay for.

04

A new investment class

Owning the solar-industrial stack of the future, open to smaller investors.

Why

Solar has made energy cheap anywhere the sun shines, but energy alone changes nothing until it becomes cement, steel, glass, water and fuel. Most countries have the rock and the sun, yet still import the materials they build with.

Terraform builds the machines that make that conversion, so any community can make the materials for the infrastructure it needs, on Earth and as we move into space.

One vertically integrated system, from sunlight to finished environments.

Each layer is the first customer of the layer before it. Every World we operate is a working demonstration of the whole system.

The industrial stack, rebuilt for sunlight.

Solar is becoming the cheapest energy on the planet. We design the Cells, build the solar parks, make the resources and products, and open ownership of that stack to a new class of investor.

Founder

James founded Terraform to rebuild the industrial stack around solar power. He leads the design of the Cells, the Building Blocks system and the Worlds Terraform develops, from Cremorne, Melbourne.

We are hiring mechanical, structural and product engineers.
